Meat and alternative proteins of the future: IFFA 2022 presents innovative processing technologies.
In 2022, it's IFFA time again: the leading international suppliers of technologies for meat and protein processing will be showing their innovations on more than 120,000 square metres in Frankfurt am Main from 14 to 19 May. The focus will be on automation and robotics solutions, efficient technologies, sustainable packaging, new business models through the Data-Driven Factory and individualisation in the butcher's trade.
In addition to the traditional focus on meat processing, alternative protein sources are officially included in the portfolio of the international industry meeting place for the first time. IFFA is thus responding to the booming global market for meat alternatives, whose process technology is identical to meat processing in many areas.
